The grades are about 6th-8th grade, but not by all means.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets has an ATOS grade level of 6.7.
Yes, if you go to the bank in Diagon Alley you will see that it says 'bonus level' and it will also say Lego builder part 1 of 4.
All the Harry Potter books seem to be directed at children, but - in my opinion - Harry Potter 4 and later are somewhat sinister, say, for a child below 12 years or so. This applies both to the movies and the books.

i think its level 4
Harry Potter lego toys have become tremendously popular with the release of the books and the movies. Children can build Hogwarts or a scene from the movie in conjunction with the book. In this way, kids enjoy the excitement of building Harry Potter lego toys while also being inspired to read the books. These toys can be fun for children and parents alike, and reading along with the building will improve reading skills and add another level of fun and excitement.

The Harry Potter books are more than just good, they are amazing. When I was in like the fourth grade I really hated them because I thought they were hard to read and to descriptive. Once I became a better reader though (the Harry Potter books are like 6th to 7th grade reading level) I tried reading them again and I loved them! Although some of the books are a little long if you read through them just about everything comes into play later. I know at times they will get a little boring but if you just continue every book has an amazing important and suspenseful climax. (the 5th book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and the 6th book Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince are I admit a little long but more important than you think)
it can be read by a child that is about 10 years old. However, in later Harry Potter books - perhaps starting from book 4 or so - the subject matter becomes darker, more sinister, and would be more appropriate for older children.
