The CPE is an acronym for Cuny Proficiency Exam. It test your skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking.

This exam will be taken at your sophomore year when you have accumulated 45 credits. Some colleges will allow you to take it 3 or 4 times. If passed you will be able to graduate with a degree.
