There is no actual cure as such, but the symptoms are treated like a severe allergy, and any medication thought to be involved must be stopped immediately. Other than that, I think the serious skin problems caused by it, are often treated in the same way as burns. Even people who survive SJS are often permanently disabled by it, so if you ever suspect the condition you must get to a hospital as soon as possible. Believe it or not, I survived sjs. i had it when i was three years old. i was diagnosed with it when i got sulfa digested into my body. i was so close to dying. but i didn't. And, they wanted to give me a bath that would stop the pain. but what they didn't know, is that it would leave me red forever. Thank goodness, a specialized doctor came in and said that they couldn't give me the bath. They didn't, and now I'm perfectly fine. 1 out of a million people get it, but 1 out of a billion people live from it, and 1 out of a trillion people are not scared for life from it, I was was the lucky 1 out of a trillion.
te cure is to eat food!!!
"Restless leg syndrome often has an underlying cause, which must be discovered in order to treat restless leg syndrome. For example, anemia may require increased iron intake, varicose veins may require surgery, and smokers may need to quit."
No there is not a cure. In fact, many doctors are unfamiliar with this disease. I was born with it, the only in my family; and was told they would stop growing when I did but now I'm 31 and they still are! At least there is now information on the internet about it as well as studies being done. Hope this helps! Amber
The Koro syndrome is a culture-specific syndrome. The individual with Koro syndrome has an overpowering belief that his or her genitals are retracting and disappearing.
People that have restless leg syndrome (RLS) usually feel something in their legs that cause them to get up and walk around. Generally, their legs will tingle, itch or ache, although some others have reported numbness rather than feeling. It is possible that you have RLS, but you should check with your doctor first.
