Cultural identity occurs everywhere in our world, everyone has a culture and therefore identity comes along with it. The certain customs, traditions, religions, and even foods can shape a culture, and if you are part of that culture those things may or may not become a part of your identity. Depending upon which aspects of your culture you follow or do not follow shapes your specific identity, the cultural aspects you do follow however are your cultural identity, everyone has a cultural identity whether or not they follow it.
