Scavengers are little tiny insects or animals tat eat the remains or debris of bigger dead animals.
Actually, something larger like a vulture is a scavenger. Smaller insects, like Carrion beetles, are called "Detritivores".
At shallow depth, some of the scavengers in the ocean are:
-Shark
-Blue-hake
-Lobsters and Crab
At depths grater than 3000 meter:
- Grenadier
Lysosomes in animals are also regarded as scavengers as they digest the waste material and enzymes.
A scavenger looks for an easy meal while carnivores hunt for their own food.
