Catholic Ordination is a sacrament instituted by Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ, and administered by a Bishop, who has his consecration in the Apostolic succession. It ontologically changes the man thus ordained.

.

Anglican ordination is a similar ceremony that institutes a man OR a woman into one of the three orders of protestant clergy in the Anglican Communion. Anglican ordination does not confer an ontological change, and this was ruled infallibly by Pope Leo XIII in Apostoloicae Curae, attached below.

Are you a Catholic if you join the Anglo Catholic church?

Roman Catholic AnswerNo, "high Church Anglicans" regard themselves as Catholic and they, and various breakaway religions from them, regard themselves as Anglo-Catholic. But they are in no way Catholic and do not have valid Orders (they do not have a valid priesthood). Joining an Anglo-Catholic Church is basically committing apostasy and endangering your immortal soul. Please discuss this with your confessor, spiritual director, or parish priest as this is very serious.

Will a school with strong Anglo-Catholic tradition accept your child if neither she or you are Catholic?

Roman Catholic AnswerIf a school as strong Anglo-Catholic traditions, this means that it is High Church Anglican or Episcopalian; in other words, it is a protestant school with some Catholic traditions. I see no reason why they would not accept your child if you are willing to go along with their rules. Please note, however, that it is not a Catholic school.
