The Model 1911 is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45ACP. The Model 1917 is a large frame revolver also chambered in .45ACP but using half-moon or full-moon clips to hold the rounds.
The Model 1911 wasn't a revolver. Are you sure you're not thinking of the Model 1917?

made by colt about 1917

if your pistol is of the model 1911 with serial number 189558 then it was made in 1917 by colt. If it is the revolver then the serial number is to high for the 1917 revolver.
Your colt model 1911 commercial (that is what the C stands for ahead of the serial number) was made by colt in 1917.
The "Model of 1917" is more commonly called the 'P17 Enfield' and was a standard US service rifle in WW-1 and in some arenas of WW-2. Winchester was just one of the makers, others being Remington and the arsenal at Eddystone. Would need to know the complete markings on either rifle to go further. sales@countrygunsmith.net
Probably nothing, because it is a fake. Check with Gunbroker.com There is no record of the Russians buying the Colt Model 1911 .45, be careful. Is there documentation?
