A personal computer is a computer used by an individual. A computer in general can be one that has a sole purpose of changing the street light or gauging temperatures at a power plant. Do not mistaken that a computer in general is less of that than a personal computers, they all have been built for different purposes.

Micro is smaller than Mini.

For example, if a normal computer desktop has dimensions of 4x1x3 feet (LxWxH), a mini desktop would be 2.5x1x2, and a micro would be 1.5x0.9x1.25. There is also Nano and Pico, mostly in use by VIA based computers, but Intel chips have begun having MicroITX capable boards. VIA currently has the smallest x86 desktop consumer mass-produced design, with PicoITX, which is smaller than a CD case (but taller). A size comparable to an iPod touch.

There are no actual specifications for what qualifies 'mini' 'micro' 'pico' 'nano' and other designations, except when speaking of actual measurement sizes (5 micrometer transistors, 45nanometer transistors, etc.)

Personal computers are small computers based on microprocessors. They can be either desktop or Laptop.Servers are the centralized computer where companies stores their data, it is the main computer in the network of several client computers. They typically have large RAIDed disk arrays for storing data.Minicomputers are obsolete, being replaced by personal computers.Mainframe computers are simply large computers.
