NGA is Numeric Grade Average (i.e. the 0-100 scale) where as GPA is the Grade Point Average where your numeric grades are assigned a point value (The 0-4 scale)

Example: Your grades in your classes are:

Science: 93 = 4.0

Math: 91 = 4.0

English: 88 = 3.0

History: 90 = 4.0

Foreign Language: 91 = 4.0

Music: 95 = 4.0

Your NGA is the average of these grades, 91.3.

Your GPA would be the average of your points assigned to each grade, 3.83
