Sara (Sarai) and Sarah are the same woman just as Abram and Abraham was the same man. Sarai's name was changed to Sarah by God after He had promised that they Abraham and Sarah would be the father and mother of nations.

There is no difference. Hebrew words do not always have a standard English spelling, and since Sarah (שרה) is a Hebrew word, it may be written in a variety of ways.

The Hebrew Bible was written without any vowels at all, so the Hebrew name of Sarah is actually written something like this: SRH.

There is no difference between Sara and Sarah in the Old Testament. The presence or lack of "h" at the end of Sarah is an English convention that does not exist in Hebrew, where there is one spelling (שרה) for the name.

If perhaps you meant to ask about Sarai (שרי) -- pronounced sar-eye -- and Sarah (שרה), this is an actual Biblical question. When The Bible introduces the persons of Abraham (אברהם) and Sarah (שרה), they are introduced as Abram (אברם) and Sarai (שרי). Abram and Sarai are the original birth names of these persons and God changes those names in Genesis 17:5 to reflect Abraham's importance in the covenant. In both the names of Abraham and Sarah, the letter added is the "h" (ה), which is usually a symbol or indication of God's presence.
