A ganged potentiometer is two or more piggy-backed together that share a common shaft. Turn the shaft and you turn all the pots at the same time. Commonly used to adjust the volume or tone for both channels of a stereo amplifier at the same time. An ordinary pot has just one to a shaft!
A ganged potentiometer is two or more variable resistors of the same or sometimes different value, ganged together on one adjusting shaft, normally used on stereo systems as a volume control so that one can vary the volume of both channels at the same time. They are commercially available with from two to four sections. Clarostat used to make a ganged stackable system where you could add as many sections as you wanted. I'm not sure if it's available anymore. Ganged pots are also used for tone controls, pan controls, as well as in power supplies and other electronic lab equipment.
Hi, A triple deck potentiometer is just another configuration of a standard potentiometer. In this situation, it has three potentiometers stacked together on a single control shaft. There can be many different configurations with the most common being the single and double deck, but I've seen as many as six potentiometers stacked together. Then on top of it, switches can be added if needed. Hope this helps, Cubby It is a three ganged variable resistor
The strobe pin on the LM311 is used to disable the output, so that multiple 311's can be ganged together, with only one being turned on at a time. It is also used to adjust the balance of the device.
The full wave rectifier is a means of converting alternating current (ac) into direct current (dc). It is done with either the use of 2 diodes coming off a center tapped transformer, or by using a bridge rectifier, which conists of 4 diodes ganged together in a certain configuration. As it's name implies, it converts both the positive going and the negative going parts of the sign wave into useable dc, and therefore is more efficient than a half wave rectifier, which only converts 1/2 of the complete sign wave into useable dc.

Squirrels ganged up on him and through pinecones at him.
Press-ganged?
ganged
ganged i think
Most of these unfortunate children are press - ganged into service .
because he ganged up with the carrers
Stalin ganged up on people and isolated them by making allies.
Because they are Ganged ( Grouped ) together , such that they can be tuned through a single tuner.
I thnk itz when u got somethng taken from u o u got ganged on!
Squared in as in getting ganged up on when fighting? yes that's one way to get initiated into the Crips, u have to get jumped in or ''squared in''.
I believe the 7 day war. And a group of armed conflicts between Egypt and Israel. Egypt, Syria and Jordan, each got their butts kicked, even when all 3 ganged up on the Israelis. Chalk one up for those tough SOB's.
