MacBooks are now discontinued and replaced with the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, the main differences between the MacBook and the MacBook Pro are that the MacBook Pro has a retina display, thinner design, unibody, faster processors, and more up to date technology. With the MacBook being discontinued, Apple have stopped making them but you can still pick one up for about £800 which is considerably less than the MacBook Pro costs.

Some of the differences you should be aware of between a Macbook and a Macbook Pro include that Macbook Pro is more expensive with multiple price levels and has a faster processor.

The MacBook Pro cases are much larger and sturdier the the MacBook Air cases.

The MacBook Air is thinner than the MacBook Pro. The MacBook Air doesn't have a SuperDrive. The macbook Pro has a multi touch trackpad and a more powerful processor. The MacBook Pro can use up to 8GB of ram and a 500 GB hard drive. The macbook air can have only 2GB of RAM and a 128 GB solid state drive

One difference between an Apple MacBook and an Apple MacBook Pro is the way they look. The MacBook Pro is more sleek looking than the basic MacBook. Most MacBooks have plastic cases, while Pros are only available with aluminum casing. The MacBook Pro is, of course, much more powerful than the basic MacBook. If you are looking for a really powerful notebook with incredible processing speed, the Pro is the way to go. If you are looking for a notebook for more general use, a basic MacBook is sufficient.

The macbook pro is the best!!!!!!

MacBook Pro is the best you can get

The best Macbook is the Macbook Pro

The MacBook Pro is already 'out'. the successor of the Macbook Pro is the recent 2012 Macbook Pro with retina with upgraded performance and screen resoulution and display.

you probably should get the MacBook. they are cheaper than the MacBook Pro. now, if you want a bigger screen, then get a MacBook Pro.

The Macbook Pro is made in China.

Apple's newest release in the MacBook line is the MacBook Pro with Retina display.

There is no difference in MacBook Pros (assuming they are the same model) purchased directly from Apple or any other retailer.

Some people prefer Dell and others prefer MacBook Pro. Here are some opinions:Most certainly Macbook pro.MacBook Pro is better than Dell. MacBook Pro is faster than Dell.

Size is one big difference but for a full run down check here http://gizmodo.com/5063492/macbook-and-macbook-pro-dual-review

The MacBook AIR was created for the "on-the-go" person. More for convenience then processing power. The basic model does not come with a CD/DVD slot and uses solid-state design for its hard drive (smaller capacity). For the value, the MacBook Pro is a good purchase.

The graphics in macbook pro is better than the macbook and also the processor is better Faster Processor

There is no age limit for getting a MacBook Pro.

The MacBook is made of polycarbonate and is coloured white whereas the Pro is made of aluminum. The Pro has a generally higher spec - includes FireWire port, SD card slot etc. and has a backlit keyboard which are not included with the MacBook. The white MacBook has a better Wi-Fi range than the aluminum model owing to the fact that aluminum blocks Wi-Fi signals to an extent..

No it does not. But the Macbook pro does. Although, I dont reccomend the new macbook pro. It has screen diplay problems. I reccomend the 2008 vershion of the macbook pro 17 inch.

MacBook Pro has better specs than MacBook Air. This means MacBook Pro is better.

I'd say either a Macbook original, or a Macbook Air. They are both small, and are the same price of $999. Don't go buying a Macbook Pro, that laptop is expensive and to a 12-year old, it makes no difference between a Macbook Air and Macbook Pro. Both MAcbook Air and original Macbook have high memory for games and school projects, downloads etc. Take note that the Macbook Air has no disc drive. So if he or she is into watching movies or playing CDs, choose the original Macbook. Hope this helps!

Most do, but the Macbook pro with Retina Display does not.
