REFLECTION:
1It is the phenomena in which a ray of light after striking a surface retuns back to the same medium.
2.reflection is carried out by the help of mirrors such as concave and convex mirrors.
REFRACTION:
1.when a ray of light travels from one medium to another medium its speed changes and this change in speed causes refraction of light.
2.it is caused by lenses such as concace and convex lenses.
They both involve in like bending. There different because Refraction is the bending of a was as it enters a new medium and Diffraction is the bending of a was as it moves around an obstacle or passes through.
in reflection occurs when a wave bounces off a reflective surface, refraction is when a wave enters a new median, changing its speed, direction, and wavelength, and diffraction is when a wave bends due to a boundary.
reflection is the only process in which the wave does not continue moving forward.
what is the difference between refraction and reflection
Dont write an answer down if u dont bloody no it
Globally, from a macroscopic view, reflection has light (image) reversing direction, whereas refraction has light changing direction. Refraction is dependent upon the frequency of light.
reflection - it bounces off a substance refraction - the course of movement is bent
Reflection is for the light rays to bounce, and refraction is for the light rays to bend. maybe not equally, but enough to bend or bounce.
refraction is where the soubd waves bend, reflection is when sound waves bounce off of things and change direction.
in reflection, angle of incidence is equal to angle of refraction.... where as in scattering, there is no such law....:)
refraction
the difference between refraction and reflection is that in refraction light bends and in reflection it is reflected

refraction
In reflection the light bounces bach; in refraction the light passes through, but is bent at the interface.
refraction and reflection are similar because *they both have to do with waves*
Refraction is better.
the difference between reflection and reflection, is nothing. they basically mean the same thing unless you are thinking of it in other terms. Answer Do you mean reflection and refraction, if so then reflection is the immage you see reflected back at you when you look in a mirror. Refraction is when a light wave is bent. When you put a straw in a glass of water, you will notice that the part of the straw in the water is out of line with the part of the straw above the water.
