Swordfish are related to the tuna. They are part of the Xiphiidae family which includes tuna, swordfish, marlin, and some species of shark.
Well first of all, there is no such thing as a spearfish. Spearfishing is a sport. This is incorrect. There is such a thing as a Spearfish. There are several types of Spearfish, which like swordfish, are Marlin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marlin. Spearfish, like Sailfish, have really large, wavy dorsal fins (like sails), whereas Swordfish do not. Swordfish are also larger. I'm not sure the difference between Spearfish and Sailfish however, except that it is prohibited to catch and keep a Spearfish in US Federal Waters and you can keep Sailfish 63 inches or larger http://www.nmfs.noaa.gov/sfa/hms/rec_info.htm And yes spearfishing is a method of fishing. The fish have been doing it longer than humans have, but we came up with the name.....
its called marlin on it u find it at green meadows if u have marlin bait. hope this helps.

Predators: Swordfish are prey for many types of animals at young ages and as adults. Adult swordfish are prey for Killer Whales. Predators of swordfish are Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Yellow Tuna and Dolphins.
They are different animals. The bill of the swordfish is longer and flatter than the marlin's. Swordfish are usually bigger and are usually eaten, while Marlins are caught for trophies.
the swordfish has a longer snout and the sailfish's top fin is colorful to the point where it looks like a boats sail
