A tidal wave (AKA a Tsunami) is caused by an earthquake. It is more of a wall of water and a rise of sea level. when a tidal wave is coming, water will be sucked out from shore rapidly. Tidal waves usually aren't more than 3 feet in open water because in open water it is usually more than 600 feet deep. Rogue Waves can occur in open water and aren't usually caused by earthquakes but just waves that build up. Rogue waves come undetected. Tidal waves have signs. Both are huge in size, up to 100+ ft.
Tidal Waves tend to crash on shore while Rogue Waves are violent waves in open water.
A rogue wave is a wind-driven ocean wave that forms when several wind-driven waves briefly combine to produce a much larger wave. Like other wind driven waves as rogue wave that reaches shore will wash in and back out in a matter of seconds
A tsunamis is a large ocean wave or series of waves that are structurally different from wind-driven waves. Tsunamis are trigger by some sort of underwater disturbance, usually from an earthquake, that displaces a large volume of water. Compare with a wind driven wave a tsunami is much longer in length. A tsunami that reaches shore comes in as a massive surge or wall of water that continues to come in for several minutes.
Tanganyika Tidal Wave was created in 1989.
i think it is the wind that has been doing it
Another name for tidal wave is Tsunami.
tidal surge
Just before a Tsunami (tidal wave) hits the water can recede. This is called a "drawback".Drawbacks can serve as a brief warning that a Tidal wave is going to strike very soon.
Tidal or rogue wave.
There is not any difference between tidal waves and tsunamis, except for that cyclones are high waves accompanied with heavy rain wheras tsunamis are only waves.
A tidal wave is a water wave so it is a mechanical wave.
The tidal wave starts by the moon
Rogue Wave Software was created in 1989.
Rogue Wave Software's population is 100.
there is no other name for a tidal wave, just tidal wave
tidal wave starts by pressure in the oceans floor
There is a 97% chance that you could get killed by a tidal wave.
Tsunami is the name given to a tidal wave.
