essential elements(EE) are those that are required for the completion of the plant life cycle..whereas beneficial elements (BE) are those which promote plant growth but are not necessary for the plant life cycle. EE - there are 3 criteria for the elements to be essential BE - there are no such criteria formulated. EE - eg. Mangenese magnesium calcium boron potassium iron zinc etc. There are 17 EE have been found. BE - eg. Silicon sodium cobalt aluminum and selenium. EE - they are involved in metabolic activities of plant. Production of chlorophyll reproductive and vegetative growth etc. BE - they enhance the resistnce to pathogens drought salinity and nutrient toxicity or deficiency. Enhance plant nutritional value. {ANSWERED BY SHAHEDA }

Difference between a major essential element and a trace element?

Major essential elements are required in relatively large amounts by plants for their growth and development, such as nitrogen and potassium. Trace elements are required in smaller quantities, but still play vital roles in plant growth, such as iron and zinc. Both types of elements are essential for the overall health and functioning of plants.

What is the difference between lumped element and distributed element resonators?

Lumped element resonators use discrete components like capacitors and inductors to create resonance, whereas distributed element resonators use transmission lines to create distributed capacitance and inductance throughout the structure. Lumped element resonators are typically smaller and easier to design but have limited bandwidth compared to distributed element resonators, which are larger but offer wide bandwidth and better performance at higher frequencies.
