∙ 11y agoExternal customers are what we usually think of as "regular" customers. They do not work for the same organization that you for for.
Internal customers are people you provide some service or product for, who work for the same organization that you do. There are often whole departments (Information Technology, for example) whose whole purpose is to serve internal customers.
