Bebop is a style of jazz characterized by fast tempo, instrumental virtuosity and improvisation based on the combination of harmonic structure and melody. Hip hop is a musical genre consisting of a stylized rhythmic music that commonly accompanies rapping, a rhythmic and rhyming speech that is chanted.
The difference is usually in the lyrics. Hip-Hop has hooks and repeating choruses while is more about flowing through and might not repeat any one line twice. For example, "A Milli" by Lil' Wayne is more of a rap song(although there is a repeating of words in the background of the song, that is more apart of the beat.) Kanye West's "Gold Digger" is more of a Hip-Hop song.
Instrumental hip hop music varies from traditional hip hop music as it incorporates more musical instruments. Traditional hip hop mainly has just a basic beat.

There is a total difference between the waltz and hip hop. In the waltz all you do is you move your feet. In hip hop you move your body fast as you can and you use all parts of your body such as... your hands, your legs (of course), your head, and much more.

Lyrical hip-hop is a fluid and more interpretive version of new style hip-hop most often danced to downtempo rap music or R&B music. Choreographer Kate Prince describes it as "hip-hop with emotion."
