Honey bees are social insects and live in groups of a few tens of thousands, bumble bees live in small groups or even alone.
Although both species make honey, only honey bees store a surplus for times when nectar is not available. Bumble bees make at most around a tablespoonful of honey.
Honey bees remain active over winter, though they won't leave the hive if it is too cold or wet. Young bumble bee queens seek out a sheltered place in which to hibernate, and the other bumble bees die when winter comes.

(add) This is because bumble bees' stingers lack barbs, as honey bees do. This allows the bumble bees to sting repeatedly. The female bumble bee tends to be more aggressive than males(end).

That is right and the Bumble bee is of the genus Bombus, and includes various bees in the group. While the Honey bee is of the genus Apis, and includes several social bees that produce honey. Especially (A.mellifera), a widely domesticated source of honey and beeswax.

Honey bees, although having a fine hairs appear much smoother. Bumble bees are also usually black and yellow in colour, honey bees more shades of brown.
