Based on my experience talking to my guy Friends seem to say yes. Now don't take my word for it completely since every guy is different, but 2/3 of my friends have said it does. To them, a cute and pretty girl is attractive, but what separates the two is that the cute girl may talk a bit more, like as in they are verbose, but they don't just talk to get attention. (if that makes sense) where as the pretty girl my be a bit more on the quiet side and they call her pretty to acknowledge the fact that she is attractive.

Also, I hate to say it, but cute might also mean that he is more attracted to her then the pretty one. Since as already stated, pretty could be just to say that yes she is pretty, but not for me... sort of thing.

Now, please don't only go from this point of view, I am mearly talking from experience, but regardless
