A cyanobacteria obtains its energy from photosynthesis and bacteria can get energy from almost anything. Bacteria can survive in soil, water, hot springs, waste, and in the Earth's crust and cyanobacteria cannot.
1. cyanobacteria are autophytic (prepares food by photosynthesis)..bacteria are saprophytic or parasitic (cannot make its own food, depends on other living organism)
2. cell wall of cyanobacteria made up of cellulose and pectin, cell wall of bacteria made of glycolipids, peptidoglycans
3. chlorophyll present in cyanobacteria, absent in bacteria
4, accessory pigment present in cyanobacteria , but absent in bacteria
5. locomotory organelle (flagella) absent in cyanobacteria, but present in bacteria
6. cyanobacteria- asexual reproduction only (no sexual reproduction), bacteria- both asexual and sexual reproduction
7. same as above.
Cyanobacteria has got chlorophil,so it can produce its own food i.e.autotroph.It has no flagella so it can not move.Stored form of food in cyanobactertia is glycogen. There is a capsular covering outside the cell wall of cyanobacteria. On the otherhand, proteobacteria has no chlorophil,so it can not produce its own food i.e.heterotroph.It has got flagella so it can move.Stored form of food in proteobacteria is starch. There is no capsular covering outside the cell wall of proteobacteria.
Cyanophytes do not have any organelle structures.
Cyanophytes contain chlorophyll a and are photosynthesiz-
ers. Cyanophytes were the primary producers of oxygen in
the atmosphere.
cyanobacteria contain chlorophyll which means they can photosynthesize and make their own food
cyanobacteria are photosynthetic so they are autotrophic. they are able to make their own food source whereas heterotrophic bacteria wouldn't be able to do that.
Cyanobacteria use sunlight for energy, and bacteria do not use sunlight for energy. Cyanobacteria are have photosynthetic pigments, which bacteria do not have.
cyanobacteria uses sunlight and obtain energy to make there food (otherwise known as photosynthesis), when other bacteria do not obtain the enery of photosynthesis

At one time cyanobacteria were called blue-green algae and were included with the algae. However, like bacteria and unlike algae, cyanobacteria are prokaryotes, meaning that they do not have a nucleus. For this reason they were removed from the algae (which are eukaryotes) and put into the bacteria, with all the other prokaryotes. Cyanobacteria can undergo photosynthesis.

Cyanobacteria, like other bacteria, exist in many shapes and sizes. However, three common shapes are observed most frequently in cyanobacteria: spherical, rod and spiral.
cyanobacteria
eubacteria, cyanobacteria, and I can' t find the other one, ARCHAEBACTERIA
They are bacteria.
Bacteria
Cyanobacteria is the phylum of bacteria. Often called blue-green algae, it belongs to the bacteria domain and the eubacteria kingdom.
All bacteria, including cyanobacteria and archybacteria are prokaryotes. All other types of organisms are eukaryotes.
Cyanobacteria is in the Eubacteria kingdom. It is an algae that makes its own food through photosynthesis and is blue-green in color.
Cyanobacteria is a phylum of bacteria that obtain their energy through photosynthesis.
"Bacteria" refers to a whole domain of organisms, which is a classificational level above kingdom. The domain is called "Bacteria", and it contains several kingdoms of bacteria. Cyanobacteria are their own kingdom, generally called "Cyanobacteria" which is part of Archaebacteria.
