The cytosol is the "soup" within which all the other cell organelles reside and where most of the cellular metabolism occurs. Though mostly water, the cytosol is full of proteins that control cell metabolism including signal transduction pathways, glycolysis, intracellular receptors, and transcription factors.
Cytoplasm is a collective term for the cytosol plus the organelles suspended within the cytosol.
Depending on your level of academic study, the terms could be used interchangeably. However, when talking about the actual fluid in which various organelles are submerged, you would use cytosol. Cytoplasm refers to the area outside of the nucleus and inside the cell membrane which contains the cytosol and organelles.

Fluid in the nucleus--nucleoplasm Fluid between the nucleus and the plasma membrane--cytoplasm
Glycolysis occurs in the cytosol of the cell. This is true for both eukaryotes and prokaryotes.NOTE: The cytoplasm refers to the space between the cell membrane and the nucleus, including the intracellular fluid and organelles. The cytosol, however, refers to just the fluid. Although cytoplasm would probably be accepted as a valid answer, cytosol is the terminology you want to use. It takes place in the mitochondria in both plants, animals and microogranisms.
This substance is called the cytosol and all the jelly like substance and the organelles are called the cytoplasm.
They are suspended in the cytosol which is the liquid portion of the cytoplasm.
Is the cytoplasm (or cytosol)
cytosol. (cytosol + organelles = cytoplasm)
Fluid in the nucleus--nucleoplasm Fluid between the nucleus and the plasma membrane--cytoplasm
The chloroplast is an organelle found in animal cells and photosynthetic bacteria. Cytoplasm is the contents of the plant cell, including the nucleus, but excludes the cytosol, the organelles and other liquids
