Convergence= occurs when different creatures have similar organs...and disproves evolution, but reveals an Intelligent Designer, i.e. Creator God.
Divergence = very different-diverse-features in plants or animals which ought to be very closely related.

Divergent evolution.
Evolution is the general theory itself, by which organisms change and adapt over time. Convergent evolution is a specific proces in which similar traits appear in unrelated organisms. For example, insects and birds both have wings but the two evolved independent of each other. That's convergent evolution.

divergent, as both are fish but seals appear like a mammal and a penguin a bird.
The adaptive traits that arise through convergent evolution are called analogous. These are the same adaptive solutions that arise in different organisms facing very similar environmental challenges and having analogous mutations to come to similar traits through natural selection. Wings in birds, bats and insects are examples of this.

Basically, divergence is the "default mode" of evolution. So virtually all species you can think of would be examples of divergence. Even in cases of parallel and convergent evolution, the underlying genomes will continue to diverge. An often used example of divergent evolution in the morphological and behavioural sense is Darwin's finches.
Hedgehogs and echidnas show convergent evolution. Despite being far apart, they ended up looking very similar. Like sharks and dolphins.
Convergent evolution means that different species have evolved to do the same sort of thing. Those two animals show convergent evolution. Convergent evolution explains why they look so much alike.
Convergent evolution, or convergence theory.
Parallel evolution: two (or more) species or genera that evolve in similar ways over time. Divergent evolution: two or more closely related species or genera that evolve to become quite different from one another. Convergent evolution: two or more unrelated and dissimilar species or genera that evolve to become similar to one another, for example penguins (birds that used to fly), dolphins (mammals that used to walk on land) and fish (animals that were always swimming)
