What is the difference between good and bad vampire?

A vampire is only a vampire and does what vampires do. In order to label them 'good or evil' you have to come up with some criteria to measure them against. (As the above answer does.)

If a vampire only feeds upon criminals as Marie did in 'Innocent Blood' then we might tend to think of her as a good vampire, even if we still find her action a bit repulsive. But when Count Dracula fed a child to his vampire bride --- he was truly evil.

Good vampires typically resist their urge to feed on humans and instead find alternative sources of blood, such as animal blood or blood banks. They may also use their abilities to protect humans from threats. Bad vampires give in to their blood lust and feed on humans without remorse, often causing harm and chaos in the process.
