a chord is any 3+ notes played harmonized by the way, not the whole 6/12 strings.
tablature is just a way of showing what the notes are.

∙ 13y agoWell technically, there is no real difference. Guitar Pro is just a program that allows interactivity with the tabs, while regular tabs are just read off of your screen or off a sheet of paper.

i notice a large difference, guitar pro will allow you to read the sheet music which is far better long term wise for any instrument, it will also play with you and you can change the tempo, add in slurs(hammer ons/pull off's) if you want and because you play with it you will less frequently stop in the middle of a part or pause when you mess up because you have got to stay with the tempo so it will improve your pulse and consistency.
