The difference between Hennessy Black and Hennessy White are quite important:

1. The bottling and the marketing, the availability and the geographical target market: While Hennessy Black is a cognac for the US market, and now slowly is distributed in other countries, Hennessy White is a cognac that mainly is distributed in the Caribbean region.

2. They are both VS qualities, that means the youngest spirit (eaux-de-vie) used in the blend is about 2 and a half years old. They are also both made for mixdrinks, but Hennessy White is slightly more fruity, and a smoother than the Black one.

3. The price: Almost the same, around 40-50 USD, depends where you get it.
