A multicellular organism is made of of many cells like humans, cats, dogs, trees, and grass. A unicellular organism has one cell. Unicellular organisms are paramecia, some fungi, some protists, and all prokaryotes.

multicellular means that it has 2 or more cells. unicellular means it only has one cell, because the prefix uni- means one.
