The 1st law says that changes in motion are caused by forces.
The 2nd law says that the force applied to an object causes acceleration.
The 3rd law says that when a force is applied it causes equal and opposite changes in momentum so that the vector sum of momentum is zero.
. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.
This law defines inertia. A force must be applied to change the velocity of an object. An object at rest stays at rest. An object moving at a constant velocity will continue moving at the same speed until a force is applied to change the speed
III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
Two men were standing on some wet, slippery ice. They began to argue. The man on the left hit the man on the right in the stomach. The man of the left, never studying physics, was very surprised at the result. He slid backwards and the man on the right slid to the right. The purpose of Newton's 3rd law is to teach bullies a lesson.
"You push me, and I will push you without lifting a finger. I will rely on the truth of Newton's 3rd law.
So the bully went home, got mad (bullies have a hard time learning lessons) and hit the wall in his kitchen. Too bad for him, he hit a space with a stud (2 by 4 ) right behind it. The stud did move a little, but the bones in his hand moved more than they are supposed to.
I saw him at the IGA store, with his hand in a bandage.
They are the same. Newton's First Law is often called the Law of Inertia.

Newton's first law of motion is also known as law of inertia.
It describes motion when net force is zero.
Newton's first law of motion states and describes the principleof inertia. But none of his laws of motion illustratesanything.
An object at rest remains in rest, or an object in motion remains in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

No Gravitational potential energy equals no force and thus no acceleration.
His First Law and Second Law both do.
Isaac Newton, he discovered: -Newton's First Law of motion. -Newton's Second Law of motion. -Newton's Third Law of motion.
It is associated with the law of gravitational pull.
