one is percocet; the other is the generic of percocet 5mg/325mg acetaminophen. they have the same chemical make up of oxycodone(5mg) and tylenol/acetaminaphen (325mg). APAP is an abbreviation for acetaminophen
Nothing - APAP is the short acronym for N-Acetyl-Para-AminoPhenol, which is the long chemical name for Acetaminophen. You know it more commonly as Tylenol.
Oxycodone/Tylenol is also sold under the brand name Percocet. The dose you see on either a generic or brand name pill has 2 numbers, for example 5/650, 7.5/650, or 10/325. The first number is the amount of Oxycodone in the pill, the second number is the amount of Tylenol (APAP) in the drug.
One is hydrocodone and acetaminophen (tylenol) and the other is oxycodone and acetaminophen. Oxycodone is about 1.5x stronger than hydrocodone.
the above answer is inaccurate Hydrocodone-apap is also known as Vicodin and Oxycodone-apap is also known as percocet apap is just an abbreviation of acetaminophen or Tylenol. Oxycodone is 1.5x stronger than Morphine not hydrocodone most pain relievers are compared to morphine. Hydrocodone is a bit weaker than morphine. Which would make Oxycodone a little more like 2x stronger than Hydrocodone. Personal preference and metabolism also play a part in how much stronger it is.
Oxycodone IR is is pure Oxycodone the IR stands for "Instant Release" as opposed to TR which is "Time Released". Where Oxycodone APAP is Oxycodone plus Acetaminophen
No, Percocet is not oxymorphone. Oxymorphone is a combination of oxycodone and morphine. Percocet is just oxycodone, except for 5's and 10's they also have acetaminophen in them.
The same, basically, except that 5 mg tabs of percocet also contain 500 mg of Tylenol (acetaminophen). Percocet is the same as oxycodone otherwise. If people need higher doses of pain meds they are usually given higher doses of oxycodone since the higher doses of Tylenol in percocet can be damaging to the liver and other organs.
Nothing...except for the price ;)
As long as the oxycodone is not a combination drug such as percocet. Oxycodone does not have Tylenol (Acetaminophen) by itself. If you were to take 10mg of oxycodone and 650mg of Tylenol, that would make up 1 percocet. Just watch your Tylenol intake, which is not to exceed 4,000mg in a 24 period. Allow me to add that all oxycodone sold in the U.S. contains Tylenol (acetaminophen) except for the elixir which is hardly ever prescribed. The usual oxycodone pill sold is 10/325 which means 10mg of oxycodone and 325 mg of acetaminophen which is the strength of a regular Tylenol tablet. An "extra strength" Tylenol is 500 mg.
They are both very similar. The 7.5 in both of them stand for the amt. of hydrocodone and oxycodone in each tablet. The 500 and 325 stand for how much acetaminophen or also known as Tylenol is in each tablet. They hydro and oxy are similar except that hydro is made with a process of water and oxy are made with a process of oxygen.
they are pretty much the same except a psychiatrist can prescribe medications while a psychologist can not.
There are two different 30 MG oxycodone pills. I have a prescription for Oxycodone 30 MG HCL and my pill is small, round, and blue. On the one side it has nothing and on the other side it has an A on top, a line through the middle, and 215 on the bottom. These are the generic ones which are the same as the name brand. If im not mistaken the name brand ones are the same except the imprints are M on to, a line through the middle, and a 30 on the bottom.
provided it is just oxycodone and no acetominiphen or aspirin in it such as Oxycontin or roxicodone yes it certainly can and it rocks!!! Yes it does rock.. Yes you can use oxycodone apap (Tylenol) just have to cold water extract it. kind of a pain. but worth it in the end..
There is a 100mg (milligram) difference between Acetaminophen 600's and Acetaminophen (Tylenol) which is sold normally at 500mg. There is generally nothing different between the two pills except the 100mg Difference. Remember never to exceed 4000mg of Acetaminophen per 24 hours. So that means with 600mg tablets you can take a maximum of 6 1/2 tablets. With the 500mg tablets you can take 8.
Yes, very often medications for use in animals and humans are the same, except that their dosages are usually lower to account for different body sizes, and they are not usually held to the same standards of purity. Among these are similar antibiotics and antidepressants.
The answer is no, you shouldn't. Can you do it and not die? Yes, probably, but Adderall is contraindicated with other medications that can increase blood pressure, such as ibuprofen. Use acetaminophen instead. After calling several pharmacies and talking to the pharmacists on hand and asking them about mixing the two medications they all said that it would be fine. i would not try to overload on either one though. if you need to take ibuprofen for a fever you should probably see your doctor and get a better medication.
No, Vicodin is an opiate (hydrocodone) preparation with paracetamol (acetaminophen). There are no anti-imflammatory propeties of vicodin so the prepation can be safely administered with NSAIDs (except aspirin due its molecular similarities with paracetamol). Hope this helps
