series and parallel are different types of circuits that a robot can contain
multiplexer can be used as parallel to serial converter.
A bus consists of wires which is used to transfer data either in serial or parallel transmission.
Serial execution is when tasks are completed consecutively (one after the other), as opposed to concurrently (at the same time, in parallel).
-XX:+UseParallelGC (aka "Parallel Scavenge") is a collector for the new generation portion of the heap (eden and survivor spaces) which splits work between many threads; it can work with either the serial old generation collector (which is the default) or the parallel old generation collector (which does the same thing +UseParallelGC does, just for the old/tenured generation.) It cannot be used with the CMS (concurrent mark sweep) low-latency collecto. -XX:+UseParNewGC is the same as UseParallelGC except that it's compatible with the CMS (concurrent mark sweep) low-latency collector (but it cannot be used with the Parallel Old collector.)
Parallel and series connections differ in their connection to the feed line. In parallel, each pump is fed directly from the feed line. This means that the water going into each of the pumps is at exactly the same state and the pumps may be analyzed individually. In series, the water is fed through one pump, then the exit line from that pump leads to inlet of the next and so on. What determines the setup for a specific application is the desired property of water at the exit. Two pumps in parallel connection can produce a higher flow rate. Two pumps in serial connection can produce a higher pressure.

Some key differences between a Serial and Parallel Adder are that a Serial Adder is slower, a Parallel adder is a combinational circuit and the time required for addition depends on the number of bits in a Serial, but not a Parallel. A Serial Adder is a sequential circuit while a Parallel is a combinational circuit.
A serial hard drive is the same as a SATA hard drive. SATA is Serial ATA, and PATA is Parallel ATA.
give the difference between serial port and parallel port
one bit at a time vs. a group of several bits at a time.
1.serial adder add bits serially but parallel adder add bits at the same time . 2.serial adder depends on previous outputs but parallel adder does not depends on previous outputs . 3.parallel adder takes less time to execute compared to serial adder.
Serial printers are connected via the serial (COM) port of the computer. "Non-serial" printers are connected through another interface, such as the parallel port, USB, ADB. FireWire, etc...
Serial ports only allow one device to send and one device to receive at a time, where a parallel port can send and receive data at the same time.
Depends, is the device serial or parallel?
SERIAL AND PARALLEL COMUNICATION MEANS THE METHOD USED FOR COMMUNICATION.IN SERIAL COMMUNICATION THE DATA THAT IS TO BE COMMUNICATED IS PASSED SERIALLY THAT IS ONE BY ONE.IN PARALLEL COMUNICATION THE DATAS ARE PASSED PARALLEL.

Dont use serial computers.... They killllll :O parrelell computers are lame as well its the same image on the screen the whole time now to ur architecture question figure it out urself.....
