theyre kinda the same but a speed brake is at a more vertical angle and are meant to slow the vehicle down. a spoiler is meant to put pressure on the rear tires to enhance traction and prevent spinning tires when shifting.

Speed brakes are used to reduce the speed of an aircraft while spoilers are primarily used to disrupt the airflow over the wings to limit lift during descent or landing. Speed brakes can be deployed symmetrically or asymmetrically to slow down the aircraft, while spoilers are typically deployed symmetrically to assist in reducing lift.

What is the difference between the speed of boys and the speed of girls?

There is no inherent difference in the speed between boys and girls. Speed can vary among individuals based on factors such as age, training, genetics, and overall fitness level. It is important to avoid generalizations and instead focus on individual capabilities and training regimens.

The main diference between speed and velocity involves?

The main difference between speed and velocity is that speed is a scalar quantity, representing only magnitude, while velocity is a vector quantity, representing both magnitude and direction. Speed describes how fast an object is moving, while velocity describes the rate of change of an object's position in a particular direction.

When you press your bicycle's brakeswhat happens to your speedvelocityand acceleration?

your seed, velocity, and acceleration will be slow When you brake, your acceleration increases (!), your velocity decreases (and in this case, there is no difference between velocity and speed). Negative acceleration increases when braking a moving bike.

Is stepping on the brakes of a moving train an example of acceleration?

No, stepping on the brakes of a moving train is an example of deceleration, as it is the action of slowing down or reducing the speed of the train. Acceleration refers to an increase in speed or velocity.

What is the difference between an object's speed and a object's velocity?

The difference between an object's speed and an object's velocity is that the object's speed is how fast it is going, and the object's velocity is how many units of speed the object has traveled.

What are the major flight controls?

Usually called Primary Flight Controls. They are: Elevator, Rudder and Aileron. A few aircraft's use Spoilers as the only mean of lateral control. These spoilers would be primary flight controls on these planes. All other flight controls are called secondary. Slats, flaps, stabilizer, spoilers, speed brakes etc...

What three differint types of spoilers increases a Toyota's speed?

Spoilers do not increase the speed of a car. They increase downforce allowing the car to handle better at high speed. Unless you are racing a spoiler is only installed for looks and nothing more.
