Storage devices are like a memory stick, iPod, floppy disk, etc. Basically anything that you can take with you and put in your pocket is a storage device. Memory is data that is stored into the computer that can be put on to a storage device.
Storage devices: Hard drives, CD, DVD, BluRay disc, floppy disc, flash drive.
Used to store data.
Memory: RAM
Used to store data which is only recognized by the computer. If current is terminated data is lost from the memory.
Storage Devices are Hardware, like your Hard-drive, or an External Hard-drive, A Flash drive (also known as a USB drive), Disks, and stuff like that. Basically anything that you can save a file to is a Storage Device.
When someone is referring to memory they are usually referring to the computer's RAM. RAM is an Acronym for Random Access Memory. Memory is what the computer uses to run programs and other things on the Computer. When a Program runs it uses the computer's RAM to store files it needs while it runs, but does not need when it's not running, hence the name Random Access Memory.
Every Computer needs RAM to run because the Operating System also uses a portion of it.
They are both storage devices
i am not sure
buffer
Main memory in a computer is storage that will be erased when a computer is turned off. Backing storage is memory that will save information when the computer shuts down.
The main similarity of storage devices and memory is that both are used for storing documents, files and images. They all come in different storage capacity.

difference between register and memory location
THER ARE TWO TYPES OF STORAGE DEVICES: RAM(RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY DEVICE) CD WRITERAND ROM(READ ONLY MEMORY)e.g DVD ROM.Uhh no that's completely wrong there are many examples of storage devices. There is magnetic storage devices, optical storage devices, silicon storage devices, and others i cant think of.~Dawn~
Long term memory is found on secondary storage devices.
A
They're smaller usually for mobile phone or similar devices
static memory devices are those which stores data permanently as long as power is applied. and dynamic memory devices are those in which data is not permanently stored even with power applied, unless data is periodically rewritten into memory.
