The MacBook is made of polycarbonate and is coloured white whereas the Pro is made of aluminum. The Pro has a generally higher spec - includes FireWire port, SD card slot etc. and has a backlit keyboard which are not included with the MacBook. The white MacBook has a better Wi-Fi range than the aluminum model owing to the fact that aluminum blocks Wi-Fi signals to an extent..
The MacBook AIR was created for the "on-the-go" person. More for convenience then processing power. The basic model does not come with a CD/DVD slot and uses solid-state design for its hard drive (smaller capacity). For the value, the MacBook Pro is a good purchase.
The MacBook was produced to target the consumer market, this means home users, children, students, etc.
The MacBook Pro was produced to target the commercial and business market. This includes professionals, business executives, etc.
There is a huge difference, and yet at the same time, very little difference. For software, you get exactly the same OS and applications. Under the hood, the Macbook was designed for portability, long battery life, at a fair price. Where the pro is designed under the same guidelines, nevertheless it meets the demands of the most rigorous programs (such as adobe premier, Autodesk maya, etc). If your looking for a computer that does not require constant demands, (work processing, iTunes, iLife) go for the Macbook. If your going to be doing things like researching subatomic particle reactions or creating a movie with Avid, then defiantly go for the pro.
The MacBook Air is thinner than the MacBook Pro. The MacBook Air doesn't have a SuperDrive. The macbook Pro has a multi touch trackpad and a more powerful processor. The MacBook Pro can use up to 8GB of ram and a 500 GB hard drive. The macbook air can have only 2GB of RAM and a 128 GB solid state drive
Some of the differences you should be aware of between a Macbook and a Macbook Pro include that Macbook Pro is more expensive with multiple price levels and has a faster processor.
The MacBook Pro cases are much larger and sturdier the the MacBook Air cases.
The Pro is about half a pound heavier than the air. 13" air is 2.96 pounds. 13" pro is 3.57 pounds. The Air also does not have a CD/DVD drive.
MacBook Pro is the best you can get
Macbook air
mac book air
I'd say either a Macbook original, or a Macbook Air. They are both small, and are the same price of $999. Don't go buying a Macbook Pro, that laptop is expensive and to a 12-year old, it makes no difference between a Macbook Air and Macbook Pro. Both MAcbook Air and original Macbook have high memory for games and school projects, downloads etc. Take note that the Macbook Air has no disc drive. So if he or she is into watching movies or playing CDs, choose the original Macbook. Hope this helps!
There is no difference in MacBook Pros (assuming they are the same model) purchased directly from Apple or any other retailer.
It is what Apple calls their laptop computer. There are 2 versions. The MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro.

You can't. But you can share from MacBook Pro to iPhone4.

The camera built into current Macs (including the iMac, the Macbook, the Macbook Air, and the Macbook Pro) is known as the iSight
