The difference bettween a Jack Russell Terrier and a Parson Russell Terrier is the Parson Russell Terrier has Longer legs and therfore is not as stocky as the Jack Russell terrier, but because the Parson Russell Terrier has longer legs it is also a little faster Than the Jack Russell terrier. The Parson is recognised by the Kennel Club, it is a "pedigree dog" with a breed standard. The Jack Russell comes in many shapes and sizes, it is not recognised by the K.C. and has no breed standard. They both can have rough, broken or smooth coats.

The term "Jack Russell Terrier" generally refers to a specific breed, but there are variations within the breed itself, mainly classified into two types: the Parson Russell Terrier and the Russell Terrier. The Parson Russell Terrier is taller and has a more athletic build, while the Russell Terrier is smaller and more compact. While these are the primary types recognized, individual breeding practices may lead to variations in appearance and temperament among Jack Russells. What is a parson Russell cross cavalier king Charles?

A Parson Russell cross Cavalier King Charles is a mixed breed dog that combines the traits of the Parson Russell Terrier and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This hybrid typically inherits the Parson Russell's energetic and playful nature along with the Cavalier's affectionate and gentle demeanor. The result is a medium-sized dog that is often friendly, sociable, and good with families. Their coat can vary, but they generally have a soft, wavy, or straight fur that may require regular grooming.

How big does a Russell terrier grow?

According to the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America breed standard, a true Jack Russell is between 10 and 15 inches high at the withers (top of the shoulder blades). However, there are a lot of JRTs or mix breeds that don't quite conform to this standard. Generally, you won't get one over 15 inches at the withers - that would be a Parson Russell, which is slightly different. Source: See related links
