There really isn't a difference between pink and red grapefruit, there's a difference between pink/red and white grapefruit. Pink or red variety has a little bit more of all the nutrients, but the differences are nothing major. However, studies have shown the pink and red varieties contain higher amounts of antioxidants than the yellow kind. Pink and red grapefruit also contain lycopene, which has anti-tumor properties, and can help fight oxygen free radicals which are compounds that damage cells.
