Immaculate Conception refers to the conception of Mary (Mother of Jesus) by two mortal parents through sexual intercourse. Immaculate refers to the view that she was born without the stain of Original Sin. It is further believed that, because of this, she lived a life without sin.

In other words: Immaculate Conception refers to the circumstances of Mary's birth, not Jesus' (Jesus' birth was the Incarnation, and while His conception was certainly immaculate (which means "without stain or flaw"), it's not theImmaculate Conception with capital letters).

The Virgin Birth refers to the Incarnation - the conception and birth of Our Lord through the intervention of the Holy Spirit and not through normal sexual relations with a human father.

Answer The incarnation refers to the detail of what happened when Jesus Christ the eternal and almighty creator God became a human person at a particular point in history in order to die for the sins of mankind. This is documented in The Bible.

The immaculate conception has to do with the idea, not taught in the Bible, that Mary. the mother of Jesus was conceived without sin in order for Jesus to Himself be without sin.

Thus, the incarnation has to do with Jesus Christ and the immaculate conception with Mary. Secondly one is taught in the Bible and the other originates from Roman Catholic theology and is not taught in the Bible. Basic Answer: Incarnation is about Jesus' conception. It means 'made flesh', so meaning that Jesus was made flesh and because he is the second person in the trinity, God was made flesh. Immaculate conception is about Mary's conception. It means that from the moment Mary was conceived, she was free from Original Sin.
