Blood from heart is first pumped out by the left ventricle into the aorta artery which first carries it towards our head and then branches into three parts which further break into smaller arteries and supply blood to different body organs.

Blood circulates. In any part of the body, including kidneys, blood both enters and leaves. It comes and goes, it flows toward and away. If blood only flowed toward the kidneys then all the blood in the body would wind up in the kidneys, while no other part of the body would have any. If blood only flowed away from the kidneys, then the kidneys would very rapidly lose all their blood, and then die from lack of blood.
