The state of Indiana would be considered a temperate forest. There are high levels of rainfall and humidity. Trees, plants and shrubs grow in the spring and summer seasons than become dormant for winter.
It is very hot in summer time and when it moves to fall it is in the moderate state like spring time. Then fall really hits us with lots of cold but winter is colder but not that much colder. Like I said earlier, spring is in the warmer side where it is tolerable. I hope that helps you out.
The geography in Indiana. IS WOW. It can get very HOT in the Summer. Yet SUPER cold in the Winter. The coldest it's gotten is -35 degrees F. The hottest it's gotten is 116 degrees F. People like it because of all the croplands. Which supplies money to farmers that's why people like it.
I know this may sound weird to people in Washington, but some people don't like the weather in Indiana because it is so hot. Also because of all the tornadoes and twists. No one really likes those.
well, i live in Ohio and its right next to Indiana. in Ohio it switches quite a bit in spring like now. sometimes its hot, or perfectly warm, or chilly. its a little cloudy and rains a bit. hope this helps! :)
well the ecosystem is like almost like earth.!!!!!!!!!
it is not a ecosystem =]
i don't know what they are, but there are actually several. I know this doesn't really help, but I thought you should know. There are several ecosystems in indiana. There are wetlands, forests, and even aquatic ecosystems.
Ecosystems do not have to be completely the same throughout, they can have regional variations. So an ecosystem within an ecosystem is much like a neighborhood within a city.
parts of ecosystems may be in another ecosystem, like say a evergreen pine tree was covered in water , or the land was flooded, that would be a part of land-based ecosystem in an aquatic ecosystem.
