Thay are screewed into the exhaust pipes/system. There will not be any after the muffler. Start looking at the exhaust system where thay bolt to the engine. They are about 4 inches long with an electrical wire hooked to the end of them. There is 4 of them.

The intake temperature sensor is located on the side of the air filter case on a 2003 Chevy Silverado 4.3 1500. It is on the top of the engine.
