The firing order for a 1996 Chevrolet S10 Blazer is 1, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. The number one cylinder is on the front right as you face the engine.
Call your local parts store and they will be happy to give you the answer.
165432 is firing order I believe the #1 is the lower right if you looking from front of truck
1-6-5-4-3-2 clockwise on the distributor.
For a 1991 Chevrolet Blazer with 5.0L, 5.7L and 7.4L engines the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 The distributor rotation is clockwise. Here's a web page with a wiring diagram: http://www.chuckschevytruckpages.com/underhoodwiring.html

are the plug wires in the correct sequence for firing order? Are the coil wires all connected? Did you remove the distributor and possibly put it out of time?
Standing in front with the hood open, looking at the distributor, #1 is at the 6 O'clock position, from there clockwise it is 1, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.
