I'm not sure the exact capacity, I know, however, that it is much larger than that of a newer cavalier, or sunfire. It used to get (standard) a bit more than 600 km/tank The fuel tank capacity in a '93 Cavalier 4 door is 60 liters give or take couple of fumes.

The fuel filter on a 1993 Cavalier is located and the rear of the vehicle on the passenger side. If you slide up underneath the car, you will see it coming off of the fuel tank. Hope that helps! It is located right behind the gas tank on the passenger side. That is if it is a z24
