DNA is packaged very tight by proteins. Proteins found around the DNA supports both the structure and functions. The proteins and the DNA make up the chromosomes. Proteins and DNA in animal cells are chromatin! DNA contains information because of the DNA's structure!

it helps you build up yourr DNA catagories such as fat, size, and growth. you mostly get it from your parents....but protien can help change the DNA of your size and change it a bit, especially if u get a virus it can mess up your DNA.(P.S. watch danny phantom and it shows u a weird example of ghost DNA changing the human DNA.) :3

Dna makes what protein in a cell?

DNA does not manufacture specific proteins. It codes for many different proteins that depend upon the cell's function. Liver cells' DNA manufactures different proteins that match the function of the liver. Kidney cells' DNA manufactures different proteins that match the function of the kidneys.

Which statement best illustrates the function of RNA in relation to DNA and proteins?

Proteins make RNA, which then creates DNA.

How does DNA function in a living cell?

to have genetic information of the organism

What is the function of the DNA in a chloroplast?

They code for proteins. DNA allows self replication of chloroplasts

What is the name of the family of DNA binding proteins that function to package DNA into chromatin?

histones are the proteins that compact and order DNA into subunits in the first step of the making of chromatin

What is the function of DNA a cell?

The function of DNA in a cell is to code the way proteins turn genes on or off, and to carry genetic material.

What is the function of chromotian?

Chromatin is the DNA and proteins which makes up the nucleus. Chromatin does not exactly "do" anything, but it (the DNA) encodes for many things such as proteins, polypeptides, etc.

What happens if the proteins that support a DNA molecule failed to function?

folds up
