In organism, e.g. in human, glucose is a source of energy. It is decomposed to CO2 and H2O. Energy of electrons gained from decomposition of the glucose are used for synthesis of ATP which is the basic and universal energy "currency" in body.

Glucose is the fuel for our cells, but it is not really good for eating. Our bodies are designed to get glucose from from natural foods such as fruits vegetables, grains and even fat. Our metabolism creates the glucose gradually from those raw materials when we need it.

Glucose is used in humans to produce excited hydrogen and energy which is used to make ATP which is used by cells for energy. Glycolysis=2 ATP Krebs cycle=2atp Electron transport chain=32 ATP

it can be bad and it can be good. the good thing is that it keeps you cool. If you have too much you can get Diabetes. (Diabetes is bad just in case you didn't know)
