the GPA doesnt really matter, the NFL looks at how high it is yes, but its rare that it affects your draft stock, for example, Jake Long (1st pick of the 2008 NFL Draft) had a 3.6 GPA while David Carr(1st overall pick by the Houston Texans in the 2001 NFL Draft had a 2.8 GPA) it all depends on the team picking and what they look for
The NBA does not care what your GPA was in high school or college, only your skill level with the Basketball.

There actually is no Gpa requirment. If you're 6'10, black, athletic and have some handles, The Gpa you would need would be below 3.0, around 2.3
