The Spirit of Delphi, or the Oracle, was the one to speak the Great Prophecy, which is as follows:
A half-blood of the eldest gods
shall reach sixteen against all odds,
And see the world in endless sleep
The hero's soul, cursed blade shall reap
A single choice shall end his days,
Olympus to preserve or raze.
The last prophecy at the end of Percy Jackson is:
Seven half-bloods shall answer the call
To storm or fire the world must fall,
an oath to keep a final breath,
foes bear arms to Doors of Death...
The Great Prophecy is:
"A half-blood of the eldest gods
Shall reach sixteen against all odds,
And see the world in endless sleep,
The hero's soul, cursed blade shall reap.
A single choice shall and his days.
Olympus to preserve or raze."
A half-blood of the eldest gods,
Shall reach sixteen against all odds.
And see the world in an endless sleep,
The hero's soul cursed blade shall reap.
A single choice shall end his days,
Olympus to preserve or raze.
and also at the end a new prophecy is given which is
Seven half-bloods shall answer the call
To storm or fire the world must fall,
an oath to keep a final breath,
foes bear arms to Doors of Death...
if you read the book you would know that the great prophecy isn't completely about Percy. but the prophecy is: a half blood of the oldest gods will reach sixteen against all odds and see the world in endless sleep the heros sould cursed blade shal reap a single choice shall end his days Olympus to preserve or raze.
You shall delve in the darkness of the endless maze,
The dead, the traitor and the lost one shall raise.
You shall fall by the Ghost King's hand,
The child of Athena makes a final stand,
destroy with a hero's final breath,
and lose a love to worse than death.
In Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief :
You shall go West, and face the god who has turned.
You shall find what was stolen, and see it safely returned.
You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend.
And you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end. =D
Seven half-bloods will answer the call,
To storm or fire the world must fall.
An oath to keep with a final breath,
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death
Luke Castellan
Percy was given his full prophecy in the last book in the series, The Last Olympian.
Because in book 5 "The Last Olympian" the Great Prophecy was fulfilled and the Great prophecy was the theme of the Percy Jackson books. Then Rachel Elizabeth Dare (a mortal who could see through the mist) became the new oracle and proclaimed the next great prophecy. Rick Riordan then wrote his next book, "The Lost Hero" the beginning of a sequel series to the Percy Jackson books. But this new series is about the new demigods that will come to camp half-blood. The next book "The Son of Neptune (Poseidon)" is supposed to come out this Fall 2011.
I don't think so. But at the end of 2010, there will be another series about camp half-blood. Though the main character will be about the new campers and not Percy Jackson. I think there might also have something to do with the last prophecy we heard of in book 5.
new prophecy? He is part of the prophecy when he is 16 and he will make a VERY important decision which could either destroy or benefit the WHOLE world. Pretty scary, no? You read about it in The Last Olympian. Does this answer your question?
the 2010 Percy Jackson series is about Percy being lost and Annabeth looking for him. She and many others including Thalia there are new characters in the end one of the new characters knows where he is. i couldn't put it down hope this helps:)

Not in this series, but many fans do believe that Rick Riordon will start a new series with the new great prophecy. Some think that it will have all new characters with appearences by Grover,Thalia,Annabeth, and Percy.
No, but there is going to be a new Camp Half-Blood series which focuses around Rachel's Great Prophecy.

No, the next series does not even include Percy Jackson.
Technically, yes they have finished making the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. But the Heroes of Olympus series is out and includes Percy Jackson as well as a bunch of new characters. Percy Jackson lives on!
As Percy Jackson is still a fairly new series, it cannot be downloaded for free legally.
No, but there is going to be another Camp Half-Blood series. Rick Riordan is writing a continuing series, The Heroes of Olympus, but we will not get another beautiful Percy Jackson book. :-(
