"ευ-" in greek means good, but in modern greek language it is not used by itself anymore. It is always part of a word at the beginning of it, for example: ευτυχία (=happiness) it is made of the word "ευ"(=good) and "τύχη"(=luck).

The Greek root "eu" means "good" or "well." It is commonly used in English words related to positive qualities or favorable conditions, such as "euphoria" (a feeling of extreme happiness) or "eulogy" (a speech or writing in praise of someone).
