What is the highest mountain in Iceland?

==Hvannadalshnúkur.== or 'hnjúkur'... at 2,109 m (6,921 ft) though, it was previously set as 2,119 m (6,950 ft) ..Because it's upon the Öræfajökull volcano. (Which is under a glacier.) (..So it melts.)

Most of central Iceland is just one big mountain area. We have 1000's of them.

Allthough the biggest is Mount Hekla, a volcano, then Mount Öræfajökull then

Mount Snæfellsjökull. Both of witch are glasyers.

One of our most historical mountains are Mount Hekla and a small mountain called Mount Ingolfsfjall. It is said the first setteler came a shore there.
