uh bottom answer was really stupid haha

anyway it started in march 1936, why? because of the demilitarization of the Rhineland between the borders of Germany and France.

The treaty of Versailles ordered it to be demilitarized and therefore angered the Germans, prompting the German army to move in thus the Germans remilitarized the rhineland as a sign of unwillingness to give into the treaty of Versailles. But then 3 years after that the second world war broke out but was still favoured by some as it shows German nationalism.

gud enough for ya ;)
