Most people seem to think that Heath Ledger's final film was The Dark Knight. However, it was actually The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus. The director almost tried to salvage it.

∙ 14y agoHeath Ledger's last movie was 'The Dark Knight', in which he played The Joker. He was posthumously awarded an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor at the Feb. 2008 Academy Awards for his role as The Joker. Though TDK was his last major film, Ledger was also working on Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus at the time of his death. After he passed, actors Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Collin Farrell were brought in to help complete the role of Tony. This movie does not yet have a US release date but has premeired at several festivals and in several countries all over the world.
