Well my mum says they live for 6 years! And after looking it seems right! The oldest registerd great dane was 16 years so they dont live long!
Danes have an average life expectancy of 8-10 years. Some Danes have been known to live for around 12 years but those are rare extremely healthy individuals.

This is correct. Danes do not live as long as some other dogs. They live an average of 8 years. If your Dane makes it past ten consider yourself extremely lucky.

The average life span of the great dane is 8-10 years. Rarely, they can live to 12 years, but unfourtunatly that is only an exception for now, not the rule...
Usually because great Danes are bigger dogs, they don't live as long. The average great Dane lives to be between 7 and 10 years old, but they can also live younger or older than that depending on the dog, but that's the typical life span of a great Dane dog.
